I recently just moved to Los Angeles from St. Louis and I haven't found a good fried chicken yet. This place was acceptable, I ordered the Scoe's (1.), which was 2 waffles and 2 chicken pieces. I chose two breasts, which has an upcharge, and I ordered a piece of cornbread.
The chicken skin was delicious but the insides were very dry and had no taste. The waffles were delicious though! Probably some of the better waffles I've had and the cornbread tasted like cornbread.
Overall, it was a good meal and if the chicken wasn't dry, I would have rated 4 stars. Will probably eventually come back. The waffles alone make this a place worth visiting!
